Description

Guitar Fretter is an exciting action-puzzle game. Not only will you learn the notes on a 6-string guitar while you play but you can unlock all the strings and earn huge bonus points for full-matched frets and full-matched strings. The action gets more intense as you solve each level.

Can you defeat the attacking music-note-wearing Minions by matching their note to the guitar fretboard?

Development

It's a long tale - but in a nutshell I built a full prototype of the game working in HTML5 and intended to release it in PhoneGap... but no amount of optimization could bring the game to a speed I was happy with. Then I ported my prototype to the Corona SDK and it was clear right away that I was going to get the balance of performance and rapid iteration I was looking for.
