English version is out :

Strategy, puzzle and word creation.

Players of WordBog are challenged to create words (up to 9 letters maximum) and use strategy skills to obtain high scores.

The game requires players to take a strategic approach to assemble various combinations of words on a game board comprised of randomly placed letter tiles.

As each valid word is formed, the tiles in the word are removed and the remaining tiles fall into the vacated spaces creating new word possibilities.

I was going to response the other day but it wasn't in English so I didn't really know what it was about. Now that you describe it, sounds like a very promising title! It looks very nice and it sounds like it must have took some VERY creative programming to get it done, so great job!

Does it have OpenFeint leaderboards and/or Facebook/Twitter posting included? I know many people who play puzzle games LOVE sharing their scores and competing with friends on OpenFeint or just by showing off their scores as Facebook status messages (my own mother included, lol... she's a Bejeweled Blitz junkie), and Corona makes it easy to implement both OpenFeint and social status posting.

ANOTHER suggestion is to take some advice from Bejeweled Blitz and add a separate MODE (that utilizes OpenFeint leaderboards and Facebook/Twitter posting) where they get 1:00 (or some other time frame) to get as high of a score as possible...

Good luck with your new title and once again, great job!

Hi Jonathan, thanks for your reply. Indeed, it was really fun programming WordBog. This is my first app with Corona and wanted it to be simple and straight forward. Am still learning Lua and the SDK but I have to admit Corona made things easy.

WordBog is a game I already written for the web platform a year ago (www.dxstudio-cafe.com) where players compete for the best score every day.

I plan to have openfeint/facebook available as soon as I understand how this works.

Thanks for the tips.
