Simple File Download (sample project) not working on Droid

I'm trying to create a simple RSS reader and I keep getting a blank screen when I test on the device so I published the sample project "SimpleFileDownload" to my device and I get the same result - blank screen. I'd really like to get this figured out soon so I can move on to bigger and better things...
