I have purchased the Corona SDK after the trial edition expired. I assumed that the purchase allows me to run the SDK on multiple computers. However, after a successful installation on one computer, I cannot install it on a second.
The message is:
"You are already using this software on another computer. Please deauthorize the other computer before logging in on this computer. Or click Purchase to work on multiple computers."
However, I have already purchased the SDK. I downloaded the trial edition and then used my existing account. Do I need to download a different version or does someone need to update the account? Are there restrictions on the licensing?
windows pc...Maybe I've missed smth here and quite probably a ridicilous qestion - but will corona run on pc?
No, Corona doesn't run on a PC.
Have recently (today) purchased the subscription and need to get deathorized on a laptop I was using for testing....but nothing works. I tried uninstallind and reinstalling but when I run it says it needs to deauthorize then fails and quits....please help someone this is very frustrating and holding me back on projects
Hey g.harrison - you should have made a thread for this, not bumped an old one. (This thread was a question unrelated to deauthorizing, you see?)
Are you still having the issue? If so, email support - they can help you deauthorize if you need it :)

Hi... I know it's an old post, but I am having the same problem here.
I used Corona for free on a PC laptop 10months ago and I just moved to MAC to develop for iOS.
I installed the latest version and when trying to start the simulator, I receive the same message "You are already using this software on another computer. Please deauthorize the other computer before logging in on this computer. Or click Purchase to work on multiple computers." Well, I purchased the pro ver. (iOS + Android), uninstalled and reinstalled and it still didn't work! I uninstalled it from my PC laptop and it still refuse to work on the MAC, although it is supposed to work on multiple computers as per the message! What should I do now?

Currently, the licensing restricts you to one computer at a time, so you would need to deauthorize the other one.
