Allow us to stop simulator

I don't see a way to stop the simulator from running the app I'm testing. Is there a way?
I don't want to shut it down, I don't want it to restart, I just want it to stop. The app I'm testing is running some graphics manipulations, and it slows down my poor little Mac Mini, so it'd be nice just to say stop.

Hi,
I don't have much luck with the suspend command so another trick is to use File->Open and then click cancel.

there is a suspend command just like if you would get a call.
it is under the "hardware" menu.
