On Developer Login window I input my Email and password it says "Connecting with Server" with barber pole for a bit then crash --over and over with two different accounts

A couple things, can I get you to email me your system profiler info? info@anscamobile.com
Also, does the crash reporter come up, and can you email me the info from that as well?

Have you tried on a different machine?

O.K., originally I tried on a G5 Quad and it crashes. I tried on my Macbook and it does not crash. Would be nice to work on the G5 and do the build on the Macbook though.

I am having the same problem. Is there a resolution to this issue?

There is a replacement for the simulator that we've been emailing to people with PPC issues, but perhaps it would be better posted here. It doesn't have anything new in it, just a fix for PPC machines. Corona should never crash, though PPC users can't do device builds. See the link below. The fix will also be in the next release.

Please let us know if you are still having issues. Email info@anscamobile.com and you'll get me. Also please include your system profiler output as an attachment or inline.

I am also having this problem, but I'm on an intel Macbook Pro. I sent the details from the crash reporter to your email address.

One issue I faced earlier, was when I first purchased Corona, the server was unable to send me an email (verifying that I bought it, I guess), yet in my account page it says that it has been purchased.

Thanks

Same problem here. Intel-based Macbook Pro, SL 10.6.2. The simulator keeps crashing while trying to verify login data. My account is verified.

Ideas?

Hi guys,

A few of you have sent in crash reports that we're taking a look at. Can those of you that haven't also send in a copy of your system profiler output?

Also can I double check that everyone's issue is right after they try to login once? (as opposed to on launch)

Guys,

Seanh has been working with me on this. The fix was to check the "Set Date & Time Automatically" option in the Date and Time preference pane.

After ticking the box, I was able to start the Corona Simulator.

Thanks,

JAB
