This is some code that was given to me for a continuous scrolling background that works pretty good. Just change the image filenames and set the speed in the code and it ready to go. Go to my website and tweet to get the download link for free. http://j-strahan.com/main/?category_name=free Enjoy this free code and others on my site. Thanks.

Sorry, but this is not what the spirit of code sharing in a repository like this is about. Code should be shared freely and posted plainly here with no preconditions like tweeting etc.

I'm sorry you feel this way. I only use tweeter to let ppl know about new code that I'm releasing. how every if you don't want to tweet to get the basic code then search the forum for 'my very first post' the code is freely posted in a link on that page although you have to make a few simple changes to get it to work which is also posted in that thread. if you still have problems getting it to work just ask and I'll gladly help.

Thanks.

To be honest, I really didn't even need the code; I've written animated scrolling background routines many times over...

I just enjoy looking at the way others do things. A lot of the times I pick up something new or see things in a different way that may have nothing to do with the task at hand even...

Different people's coding styles are also interesting to me.

Consider for next time, however, just pasting your code within the code tags provided here, or plainly linking to the code with no extra clicks needed.

That way more people will actually see the code, and you can also still advertise your "learn corona" stuff in a URL to the bottom of the post which people will surely click on if they've enjoyed the code you're sharing!

Cheers!
